If you plan on selling the collectible items you won't make as much money as you were once able to since their prices have gone down. I use them to trade in for items like Eggnogs or Wintergreen Candy Canes though, since those can sell for a bit more (from my experience.)

as said for the ele run, 15 to 20 now you trade these at 2 per spiked eggnog so 7.5 or 10 * (300) = either 1) 2250 or 2) 3000 per run.

When selling a stack for equal money to that by selling the spiked eggnogs you would sell at 37,500

So selling for more then that makes you more money then spiked eggnogs and selling for less is a loss compared to selling the spiked eggnogs you could have gotten with the stack.

I ran my unused ritualist to Nolani to farm for spiked eggnogs, only 4 skills are needed:

Mantra of Lightning
Arcane Echo
Vengeful was Khanei
Vengeful Weapon

16 resto
12 inspiration

I only run the gargoyle temple and the 4 or 6 storm riders at the beginning, each run takes 6-7 mins and in 1 hour I have collected 80 items (mix of skulls and eyes), so 40 spiked eggnogs.

Before this I farmed Tengus outside D'Alessio Seaboard and the average was 40 scalps per hour that means 20 spiked, so gargoyle+riders is double more efficient.

The difference is that with tengus you get tons of runes and insignias, I have 20+ of radiant, survivor and some expendive minor runes, got also 2 black dyes and an average of 2 low level golds per run (useful for title).

Just a quick question: How much are some of the other Wintersday items going for? Like candy canes (wintergreen and peppermint)? I've got 89 peppermint ones in stash from years ago that might be worth unloading if the price is right. I haven't used one since my last Icy Dragon Sword run

BTW the Nolani Academy Eye/Skull runs are so incredibly easy with Mending/Balthazar's Spirit it's not even funny.

I farm(ed) the grawl necklaces with this awesome build : [skill]Deathly Swarm[/skill]. I considered using arcane echo as well, but I was too lazy.

At 16 death it's an insta kill on the healers. I used some minnions too, but then things dies before I could cast swarm. It annoyed me that my spells were interupted this way, so now I just swarm.

I've seen peppermints on sale for 800 - 1000 and never less, I don't know if they sold any though.

Shame you can only get wintergreens with these collector drops

As for the Grawl Necklace run;
I start out from Surmia, that way you have 3 extra groups, but I haven't found the need to use Dolyak or any sort of heal. Works fine without ^^
Got an extra running skill and IAS stance. Counterattack is also a nice option.
